Access to Care & Options for All

Whether you're just starting to explore fertility care or you're ready to start treatment, we're here to guide you through the many options you have to build your future family.

Getting Started Questions

  • You should see a fertility specialist if you’re under the age of 35 and have had regular, unprotected sex for a year without getting pregnant, or if you’re over 35 and have been trying for 6 months without success.

You should see a fertility specialist if you're interested in fertility preservation.

You may also want to see a fertility specialist if you have irregular periods, a history of damaged or blocked fallopian tubes, a family history of early menopause, or other reproductive health issues or concerns. Additionally, LGBTQ+ couples looking to grow their families should speak with a fertility specialist to review their options.

  • During your first fertility consultation, we’ll get to know you, your medical history, and your family-building goals. We’ll also discuss treatment options and what your timeline may look like. We encourage patients to come with any questions or concerns so that we can address them from the start.

  • Choosing a fertility clinic is a highly personal decision. Factors to consider include physician credentials and experience, location, fertility treatments offered, whether they have an on-site laboratory, and insurance and pricing.

The right clinic will support you through each step of your journey to parenthood. At NYU Langone Fertility Center, we’re recognized for our expert physicians, state-of-the-art laboratory, and dedication to patient-centered care. Schedule an appointment today to see if we’re the right fit for you.

  • Whether insurance will cover your fertility care depends on your specific plan. The financial team at NYU Langone Fertility Center will work alongside you to evaluate your payment options, including insurance coverage and patient financing programs to cover your care.
