Success at NYULFC

“Who you choose as your doctor to walk alongside you in your journey makes a world of difference. This other clinic was large, and had good stats, but my results at NYU were exponentially better.”

With over 177,000 babies born and counting, NYU Langone Fertility Center (NYULFC) has been a leader in fertility care since 1992. Our success rates rival many if not most other clinics in New York and even around the country. Thousands of families have entrusted our expert team to provide individualized treatment with exceptional clinical outcomes.

How NYULFC Defines Success

  2. A commitment to thoroughly educating our patients about their fertility care options
  3. Investing in the latest fertility technology and treatments to address the needs of more patients
  4. Providing access to care and options for all
  5. Dedicating ourselves to honesty and transparency

Our IVF Success Rates and Fertility Statistics

The following parameters inform our success rates and philosophy at NYULFC. Please contact us if you would like further clarification of the information below:

  • At NYULFC, we offer every patient an objective and comprehensive assessment of their fertility and reproductive health. This evaluation includes an assessment of each patient's fertility needs, as well as a review of the success rates, time frames, and associated risks of relevant treatments. Our primary goal is to fully support our patients as they become educated about their options.

  • In developing a treatment plan, our patients and physicians work as a team, carefully reviewing the patient’s family-building goals, diagnosis, and expected outcomes. We strive to provide the most comprehensive care possible based on an honest and transparent assessment of fertility health, and to advise accordingly on the appropriate course of care for each patient.

  • NYULFC performs a large volume of IVF, frozen embryo transfer, and egg donor cycles. This high volume allows our clinic to have strong statistical accuracy when discussing success rates with our patients.

  • SART (the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology) evaluates success rates based upon live birth rates, so there is a significant lag between when the data is submitted and when it’s made available to the public, as birth information cannot be obtained until the following year. View our most recent success rates, as reported to SART and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
